A five-year project funded by the NIH National Institute on Aging — PET/MR Correlates of Accelerated Aging in Chronic Epilepsy — began, with Joe as co-investigator alongside PIs Mcmillan and Prabhakaran.

The award continues the lab’s work applying computational models of memory and semantic structure to clinical populations, in collaboration with radiology and neurology.
