Co-instructing at the COSMOS summer school

Joe was a co-instructor at COSMOS, and gave a talk on Understanding knowledge using Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) with People (slides).

He also led a group project with six students that developed a “minimal paradigm” for studying teaching by physical state intervention — a simplified design that turned out to work well enough to carry the project forward into online experiments. The code is at cosmos-state-interventions.
